Good Stories Newsletter

With Christmas and the New Year just around the corner, we can all look forward to being inundated with the normal avalanche of the pre-Christmas outpourings, but apart from that, there is always the joy of receiving a really good book as a Christmas present.

If, like me, you became an avid reader at an early age, then you are always on the lookout for something really different.

Over the years, I have wandered through the various genres in the storytelling, from Sci-fi to Romance, Thrillers and Horror (don’t you just love Stephen King and Clive Barker), Historical, Mysteries and more.

But just lately, I have begun a different journey in my reading. Having been around (in years) for quite a while now, I am starting the whole question of “Why are we here? What are we? What else is out there?”

So, with all these questions thundering in my head, I decided I needed to try and find a few answers.

Following this I found some really interesting books:

I started with The Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot, which I am still reading as it is the sort of book which requires you to keep coming back to different chapters and re-read them, especially when it provokes more questions.

Then followed The Final Theory by Mark McCutcheon. This is certainly a book to get to grips with, as it proposes a totally unique answer to all of our questions regarding the fundamentals of Physics and the understanding of our Universe.

Next came Infinite Love is the Only Truth, Everything Else is Illusion by David Icke. I’m in two minds about this one. Some of it is believable whilst other parts almost had me throwing it out the window. I haven’t finished this either, but will persevere.

Then finally to Occult Ether Physics: Tesla’s Hidden Space Propulsion System and the Conspiracy to Conceal It by William Lyne. Not an easy book to read as I found the print to be too dark and in bold font, but the content is worth it. I also read this in conjunction with Wizard - The Life and Times of Nikola Tesla: Biography of a Genius by Marc J Seifer.

If you get the inclination or are at a loose end one day, please try and read some of these, as they will certainly get you thinking.

Keeping reading...

Susie
